Main Railway Station

The Train Station is situated in the immediate vicinity of the mediaeval city on the outskirts of historical Kleparz and the jurydykas of Lubicz and Wesoła.

It is comprised of a station, railwayman colony, and technical infrastructure and back-up facilities. This most impressive Kraków building of the 1st half of the 19th century was built in the years 1844-1847.

In 1910, the station was renovated and its original shape was completely transformed. The first train left Kraków for Mysłowice on the 13th October 1847.
