The Krakow Variete

The Krakow Variete has been founded in response to the wishes of Krakow and the Lesser Poland residents, who were in need of this type of music and show entertainment. Variete is the first musical theatre in Krakow, which obtains licenses to stage major worldwide productions presented on the stages of Broadway, Paris or London. The Krakow Variete Theatre is located close to the city center, at 71 Grzegórzecka Street. We invite you to visit us and take part in our artistic events such as musicals, vaudevilles, burlesques. Our repertoire includes the following performances:

"Legally Blonde"

The musical based on the novel of Amanda Brown and the film of the same name. The licence was granted by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. (the largest and most profitable film studio in the world). The Polish edition of “Legally Blonde” is directed by Janusz Józefowicz – the director of the Buffo Theatre, and an indisputable king of the Polish musical stage, also appreciated abroad. Elle Woods – a beautiful blonde with an ideal body, who loves pink – is convinced that her life is perfect and carefree. She has a handsome boyfriend, popularity and admiration of everybody. What she does not know is that soon her life will turn high heels up…

"Variete Film Show"

We do seem to appreciate the tunes we have known forever – "the Variete Film Show" is a great opportunity to go back and once again enjoy the hit music from the greatest film classics in new and engaging orchestration. The show is a truly impressive performance, presenting daring singing interpretations and amazing choreography, all placed in the surrounding of top-notch visualizations.

Diamonds are a girl’s best friends (from the movie Gentlemen Prefer Blondes), Pretty Woman (from the film of the same name), Lady Marmalade (from the movie Moulin Rouge), Singin’ in the rain (from the film of the same name), Time of my life (Dirty Dancing), Thriller, Legs, legs, legs (from the movie Hallo Szpicbródka), Golden Eye (from the movie Golden Eye) – are only some of the classics we present in the show.

"Revue Variete"

"Revue" is primarily a dance show presented by the exotic ‘Revue’ girls in their incredible feathered costumes, accompanied by breathtaking acrobatics and the phenomenal voice of Olga Szomańska as the Diva of the evening. Olga Szomańska is the only Polish artist who has had the honour to perform with Maestro Andrea Bocelli.

"Broadway Exclusive"

The greatest musicals of the world, fantastic European artists and performers from the Polish musical industry, makes it a unique, and at the same time, exhilarating experience.
