On 22 May 2024, President Aleksander Miszalski met with H.E. US Ambassador to Poland Marek Brzezinski. Mr. Ambassador was accompanied by the US Consul General in Kraków, Ms. Erin Nickerson.

The Gloria Artis Medal for Merit to Culture is awarded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage to people who are particularly distinguished in the field of artistic creation, cultural activity or protection of culture and national heritage. Mayor of Kraków Jacek Majchrowski was honored with the gold Gloria Artis Medal on 2 April 2024.

On Monday, November 6, Femke Halsema, the Mayor of Amsterdam paid a visit to the Mayor of Kraków, Jacek Majchrowski.

On Thursday evening, 1 June, in the Gallery of 19th century Polish Art in the Cloth Hall, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland H.E. Anna Clunes and Mayor of Kraków Jacek Majchrowski hosted the event celebrating the recent coronation of their Majesties British King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

On Monday, October 24, Jacek Majchrowski, the Mayor of Kraków, received the visit of Gill Cleeve, the Mayor of Stratford-upon-Avon.

On 8 July 2022, US Ambassador H.E. Mark Brzezinski paid his first official visit to the President of Kraków. He was accompanied by the US Consul General in Kraków Patrick Slowinski.

On 30 June 2022 delegation from City of Gaziantep led by Mayor Fatma Şahin met with Jacek Majchrowski Mayor of Kraków.

A branch of the Europa Nostra network – the Europa Nostra Heritage Hub – will be established in Kraków, as the first outpost of this pan-European federation the headquarters of which are based in The Hague while its European Liaison Office is based in Brussels.

UNICEF has once again offered to help Kraków care for refugees from Ukraine who have found shelter in our city. On 30 March its representatives, the so-called emergency team and UNICEF Poland Director-General Marek Krupiński, visited the Mayor of Kraków. The purpose of the meeting was to present the possibile UNICEF's support for the activities of the local government of Kraków in the area of caring for the youngest refugees.

'I have been involved in humanitarian aid and refugee affairs for 40 years and I never imagined that I would visit Poland and Kraków in this context,' said United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi, who visited Krakow's city hall on 30 March 2022.
