Krakow in the opening material of Junior Eurovision 2020
Fans of Junior Eurovision admired Krakow on November 29th, during the opening of this year's finale. The event of our city reached about 4 million viewers. The program was broadcast in 12 countries from which the competitors come from: Belarus, France, Georgia, Holland, Spain, Kazakhstan, Malta, Germany, Poland, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine.
It was in the capital of the Malopolska Region that the photos had been shot with the participation of Vika Gabor - a Krakow resident, the winner of last year's edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The singer was accompanied by children from the Egurrola Dance Studio, and scenes were recorded on the Main Square, in the vicinity of the Wawel Royal Castle and the Father Bernatek footbridge.
Krakow can count on wide, international promotion due to its participation in the project. It was also awarded compared to other cities where other contestants recorded their short showcases. The logo and a photo of Krakow were also placed in the printed version of the Eurovision booklet.
Eurovision Junior 2020 took place on Sunday 29 November at 17:00. The event was broadcast by TVP1, TVP VOD, TVP ABC and TVP Polonia.
