Higher rank of Croatian Consulate in Kraków
On 9 October 2024, President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović, during his stay in Kraków, handed Honorary Consul Paweł Włodarczyk a decision elevating the rank of the Consulate to Consulate General of the Republic of Croatia in Kraków.
At the same time, President Milanović presented Honorary Consul Paweł Włodarczyk with a decision upgrading his previous title of Honorary Consul to Honorary Consul General. It should be noted that this is the first ever title of Honorary Consul General granted by the authorities of the Republic of Croatia.
Consul Paweł Włodarczyk has been carrying out his mission since January 2011. It would be difficult to list all the projects initiated and implemented by Paweł Włodarczyk in Kraków and in the other districts under the consulate's jurisdiction, i.e. Silesia and Podkarpackie. The most spectacular is certainly the “Little Croatia” beach area located in Bagry Park, where Croatian picnics are held annually.
We congratulate the Consul on this award and look forward to further active cooperation.
