Public transport and short-term parking zones

Trams, busses and the “Wiener Linien” metro run according to the holiday schedule, which means regularly but with longer intervals. Starting from February 17th short-term parking zones are suspended, while garages offer cheaper rates.

Vienna has also produced an educational video informing children about the coronavirus:

Culture

In addition to the necessary security measures, the city of Vienna has prepared a virtual compilation of its favourite experiences, including Vienna’s cuisine famous for its hearty dishes and a variety of sweets and cakes. Access to these recipes will allow you to get creatively closer to Vienna at a time when a real journey is impossible.
