King Charles III visits Kraków
On 27 January, King Charles III paid a visit to Kraków meeting representatives of the Jewish Community Centre and Mayor Aleksander Miszalski. His Majesty also found some time to talk local residents.

As reported by The Telegraph, King Charles describes his visit to Poland as ‘a personal pilgrimage of both man and monarch’.

80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz camp
After a brief visit to Kraków, the monarch travelled to Auschwitz to participate in the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the German Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau. Nearly sixty delegations from around the globe, including prime ministers and heads of states, took part in the ceremonies.
Yet another visit to Kraków
Charles III previously visited Kraków in 1993, 2002 and in 2008. As part of the last visit, the then heir to the throne attended the opening of the newly established Jewish Community Centre, which the princely couple supported financially.
