Ambassador of Ireland visited Krakow
On Monday, 18th February 2019, Mayor of Krakow Jacek Majchrowski met with the new Ambassador of Ireland to Poland H.E. Emer O’Connell.
It was Ambassador O’Connell’s first official visit in Krakow since she begun diplomatic mission in our country, in September last year. However, Her Excellency has already seen the capital of Malopolska, as the first Polish City where she travelled with her family when she arrived to our country, in August 2019 and already then took a liking to it.
The discussions with Mayor Majchrowski were concentrated on the plans to foster and develop further the excellent relations between Ireland and Poland. Head of Ireland’s mission in our country plans to focus mainly on business cooperation and trade.
Ambassador O’Connell informed Mayor Majchrowski about the upcoming visit of the Minister of State for the Office of Public Works (OPW) and Flood Relief Kevin Moran to Krakow on 13th March 2019.
