Teenager Zone at the Dworek Białąprądnicki Cultural Centre („Strefa Nastolatka” w Centrum Kultury Dworku Białoprądnickim) is a project run by the Cultural Centre in cooperation with the Kraków Association of Court Superintendents.
It is supported by the Advisor to the Mayor of Kraków for Family Affairs and has the financial backing of the Municipal Department of Social Policy and Health. The Teenager Zone offers help to youngsters facing problems at home or school. It is also open to parents/guardians who struggle supporting teenagers with their challenges. Targeted support is provided daily by on-call specialists (therapists, psychologists). Currently, consultations focus on topics related to the pandemic, including problems with home schooling, feelings of isolation or exclusion, etc. They do not have a specific time frame and take place as often and last as long as the individual needs
During the pandemic, the Teen Zone also organises workshops (ceramics, music, etc.), aimed at teenagers aged 13 to 18 and on-line meetings for youngsters.
