US Independence Day
Today, the citizens of United States are celebrating the 247th anniversary of the passing of the Declaration of Independence, one of the most important documents in the world history.
July 4 was officially declared as US Independence Day in 1870. The Americans honor this day with revelry and color. Public buildings and private houses are adorned with national flags complemented with ornaments in national colors. Across the whole country there are countless parades, concerts and events accompanied by spectacular fireworks shows.
