Uruguay Independence Day

On August 25, Uruguayans celebrate the founding of their country in 1825. This winter holiday (after all, winter is in full swing in the southern hemisphere!) is an occasion for parades and speeches, but also all-night fiestas and fireworks displays.

Uruguay - a small country in South America - is famous for the temperament of its people, excellent wine and talented soccer players. We also remind you that there is a Consulate of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay in Kraków.
