Changes to the rules of entry of vehicles into restricted traffic area

The Municipal Traffic Engineer Department kindly informs that as of April 27, 2020 the rules of the entry of vehicles into restricted traffic zones in Krakow are changing.

In relation to last year's meetings regarding the Old Town Cultural Park, the following signs will be removed from the B-1 signs "traffic ban in both directions": "does not apply to guest vehicles with reservations to get to hotels". Access to parking spaces purchased by hotels will be enabled by providing the following annotation on the plates "does not apply to vehicles commuting to a property, garage or reserved paid parking space." Please be informed that permits for reserved parking spaces to be granted for entities seated or having branches within the paid parking zone in Krakow are issued by the Road Authority of the City of Krakow in accordance with the ZDMK-54 procedure.

The introduction of the above changes is dictated by information received from the City Guard about common occurrences of unauthorized vehicles entering the restricted traffic zone under the pretext of traveling to a hotel and the problematic process of verifying reservations.
