ul. Wiślna, Kraków

Leads from the Main Market Square to Planty garden rain, ul. Olszewskiego and ul. Franciszkańska.

This short street is strewn with shops and heritage. The repeatedly reconstructed Czeczotka mansion stands on the corner of the Main Market Square, where Wiślna meets ul. św. Anny, and on the other end of the street there is St Norbert’s Church and the spacious complex of the Palace of Kraków Bishops (with the main entrance from ul. Franciszkańska). The Publishers of Tygodnik Powszechny (literally “Catholic weekly”) take up the first floor at No. 12. The highly renowned magazine has been published for over five decades and was the only one not to yield to Communist rule.
