It has operated since June 1994, when it was opened on Floriańska Street. Currently, it is located at number 21 Starowiślna Street, in a building that also contains the merited Small Stage of the National Stary Theater, on a route that leads to the historical Jewish quarter of Kazimierz.
The offer contains about a thousand items from a wide array of trends of both realistic and abstract art. The gallery organises exhibitions and publishes catalogues, posters and postcards.
It organises exhibitions abroad, takes part in art expos, stays in a long-lasting cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, provides halls for diploma presentations and conferment procedures. It also promotes art.
The gallery ships the purchased works to the country of the customer, obtains the required permits for export abroad and professionally rolls oil paintings on canvas (large formats). It accepts credit cards and traveller's cheques.
The gallery is managed by Janina Górka-Czarnecka, who has been active in this profession since 1970. She personally knows (or knew) all artists whose works she sells and she also has knowledge about the capacity of their ateliers. She is able to advise customers and seasoned collectors and search for the ordered items. The wide range of prices, themes and formats allows customers to make purchases of the most wanted and attractive items in interior decorating.
