By train

The City has a convenient direct railway connection with all large cities in Poland, e.g. the journey on the InterCity train from Warsaw takes up only 2.5 hours.

 

Apart from local connections, Kraków has direct railway connections with Berlin, Budapest, Bucharest (from June to August there is also a train to Varna), Hamburg, Kiev (from June to August there is also a train to Odessa), Lviv, Prague, Vienna, Żilina. All trains stop at the Kraków Główny station.
