KRAKÓW’S NEW & UPCOMING MICE VENUES

The dynamic growth of Kraków’s meetings industry is best reflected in new venue investments. We have gathered the recent openings and the planned ones to make sure that you will be aware of all new possibilities when planning your next meeting.

PURO chooses to inspire

PURO Kraków Kazimierz, opened in Q3 2018, is filled with modern design and fresh approach. Minimalistic style and comfort that can be found in 228 rooms & apartments will satisfy all the creative and young at heart. The venue, located in Kazimierz – the Jewish district, can also host meetings (260 sqm of conference space). It is also the only hotel in Kraków to have its own bakery!

Golden Tulip introduces Metropolo

Kraków has been chosen to be the first city in Poland to own a hotel under Metropolo brand (opened in December, 2018). The stylish Chinese-art-déco-inspired interior has a great meeting potential.  The hotel has 220 rooms and 16 conference rooms (2500 sqm in total). This makes it possible to host banquets for 1000 people or conferences for 2000 people. If we add a four-star-standard and in-house AV equipment to the equation, Metropolo Krakow By Golden Tulip may be interesting for many meeting planners considering Kraków for their event.

Bachleda Luxury Hotel Krakow MGallery by Sofitel  is the newest hotel in Accor Hotels’ portfolio in Kraków. This five star venue, opened in March 2019, is located in the very city centre and offers 64 rooms & apartments, as well as a 60 sqm conference room. The hotel is located in a historic building which was completely renovated - the whole interior was demolished, only the façades and part of the roof remained. A planner looking for a luxurious historic venue will not be disappointed.

Worth to wait for Hilton’s Curio Collection Hotel

Good things come to those who wait, at least so it seems with the first Curio Collection by Hilton hotel in Poland. It is yet another investment in a historic building – this time a 200-year-old hotel. The former “Saski” hotel witnessed, among others, concerts of Ferenc Liszt and Johannes Brahms themselves in its amazing concert hall. The venue, which will be located just around the corner from the Main Market Square, is planned to open in 2021.

Kraków has a lot more to offer

These 5 new hotels add to an amazing MICE offer our city already has. It may be best illustrated with numbers on the example of four star hotels. Meanwhile in 2009 there were 16 four star hotels with 2807 beds, in 2017 we had 40 hotels with 6911 beds. Therefore, in the last decade both the amount of hotels and beds in this standard has almost tripled! The meeting industry thrives in Kraków and this is good news for you all the meeting planners and event organizers. Especially that you have Kraków Convention Bureau at your side. We are always ready to help you plan a great event in our city!
