Fun Krakow Zone will be opened for everyone. No matter if you are young or old, male or female, a Krakow citizen or a foreign visitor – you are sincerely welcome in the Fun Krakow Zone, a place created for all of you. The Zone will display all the matches of UEFA EURO 2012 on a large LED screen. The biggest football fans can support their teams from a VIP Tribune.

The Fun Krakow Zone’s motto is “multiculturalism”. All the prepared attractions are connected with the teams that arrived to Krakow and, of course, the countries those teams come from: England, Italy and the Netherlands. For instance, those who enjoy tasting new dishes will be hosted by the Zone’s catering services which will offer delicacies referring to regional cuisines of the visitor teams.

The Fun Krakow Zone will organize many events based on the visitors participation. Those are: football matches on specially prepared pitches, competitions for the strongest and most accurate shot on goal, ball juggling, football knowledge and UEFA EURO 2012™ quizzes, children’s corner and many other. On selected days, an additional mobile zone, which travels all around Poland – Fan City Tour, will appear on Blonia.

Thanks to the partnership with the “Nigdy Więcej” Association, Fun Krakow Zone will support the idea of peaceful fan cheering and respect for diversity. Diversity Zones are an element of the Social Responsibility Programme UEFA EURO 2012™ RESPECT Diversity, realized by “Nigdy Więcej” Association and FARE (Football Against Racism in Europe), the official UEFA partner in the branch of countering discrimination. Their motto is “Let’s kick racism out of the stadiums”.

MANKO Association  has prepared a special programme dealing with health issues. It will execute an action informing about the effects of smoking and encourage to start a healthy lifestyle. The action will take place for two days of every week of the Championships.

Every visitor of Fun Krakow Zone will be revised for any dangerous items or signs of club affiliation. Twenty volunteers are working in the Zone. A special Tourist Information Point is also present and the Zone is adjusted for the needs of guests with disabilities.

Fun Krakow is under the patronage of TVP – Official UEFA EURO 2012™ Broadcaster, RMF FM and RMF MAXXX, Gazeta Wyborcza and Przeglad Sportowy. The zone was created thanks to the funding of the Sponsors and Partners. Police, a security team and volunteers patrols will watch over the safety of the visitors. Krakow’s Festival Office and PROWOKATOR Agency are responsible for an effective organization of the event.
