Franciscan Sanctuary and Monastery (formerly Reformed Franciscans)

ul. Reformacka 4, 31-012 Kraków

A Baroque church built in the second half of the 17th century and expanded early in the 20th. The furnishing hails from the 18th–20th centuries. A Gothic ivory figurine of the Madonna with the Infant Jesus is stored in the church treasury. Situated below the church are crypts, famous throughout Poland for their specific microclimate mummifying the corpses interred there.

Adjacent to the church is a monastery built in the 1660s. The chapels – stations of the Ways of the Cross – stand on the other side of Reformacka street. The church boasts the title of Sanctuary of St Casimir Jagiellon the Prince.
