Nova Gallery

ul. Batorego 20/11, 31-135 Kraków

Nova Gallery was opened in December 2002 and is located on Nowa Street in the district of Kazimierz.

The gallery's profile is focused on the ongoing commentary on present day art. Apart from paintings that represent different types of realism: from hyperrealism through photorealism to pop-realism, the gallery also presents photography and painting installations.

The gallery cooperates mainly with the young generation of artists with a fixed position on the contemporary art market. Its offer includes works of the participants of the Novart Art Festival, Supermarket Sztuki III project and artists associated with a group called Ładnie. It has already organised over twenty individual exhibitions for: Marcin Cieński, Marek Firk, Agnieszka Kicińska, Karolina Kowalska, Marcin Mroczkowski, Kinga Nowak, Marta Paulat, Joanna Pawlik, Malwina Rzonca, Katarzyna Skrobiszowska and others.

The gallery also promotes interesting beginners, whose art is in line with its profile. The gallery's offer is enriched with the presence of works created by mature artists, such as Bettina Bereś, Jadwiga Sawicka, Edward Dwurnik, Robert Maciejuk or Sławomir Toman, whose conservative artistic attitude places them high in the ranks of contemporary artists.
