The latest ICCA report is now available 2017

In the 2017 ICCA Statistics Report, crucial for the industry, Krakow comes 54th in the world, and 27th in Europe, hosting 45 meetings of associations. This is an increase compared to 2016, when Kraków was 65th in the world and 32nd among the European cities.

In the international ranking of countries, Poland ranked 18th and 11th in Europe. For comparison, in 2016, Poland came 17th in the world and 10th in Europe with 195 meetings. In 2017, 216 meeting of the ICCA rank were organised in the country.

The international ranking 2017 ICCA Statistics Report covers over 110 countries around the world, including Poland. From among Polish cities, Warsaw was ranked first – according to the ICCA data, 89 meetings were organised in the capital, which gives the city the 16th place in Europe and 23rd in the international ranking. Another city from Poland besides Krakow is Poznań with 20 meetings, which ranked 133rd in the world. The ranking also included Gdańsk (17 meetings, 152nd place), Wrocław (14 meetings, 193rd place) and Lublin (7 meetings, 325th place).

Data is collected from the ICCA members whose task is to collect and send information about meetings held in their city, region, country. The analysed meetings must meet three conditions: take place cyclically, gather at least 50 participants and migrate between at least three countries. The ICCA report is one of the key publications summarising the number of meetings of associations in a given country and in individual cities.
