At this year’s IMEX business tourism fair (24th-26th of May) in Frankfurt am Main, the City of Krakow was represented by the Krakow Convention Bureau and ICE Krakow at stand No F 385.
The ICE is an innovative and multi-functional congress centre being developed by the Vistula River, near the historic centre of Krakow. The location of the ICE will enable complex and professional organisation of congresses and large conferences, as well as festivals, big concerts, theatrical performances and film events. It is due to open in 2015.
The Krakow Convention Bureau was established in 2004 and is present at the IMEX fair for the seventh time.
Krakow is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, in which tradition harmoniously combines with modernity. The city attracts visitors with its exceptional atmosphere of cafes, pubs and restaurants, where you can not only eat delicious dishes but also relax in beautiful and stylish interiors. The City also lures visitors with its numerous museums, historic monuments, theatres and galleries. What adds variety to Krakow's life are the cyclical festivals and open-airevents. It is also worth mentioning that the City was entered on the 1st List of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and its unique atmosphere makes any stay unforgettable.
The City offers access to a wide range of hotel and conference facilities, professionally equipped and operated by trained personnel. We can also observe new investments such as the ICE and the Sports and Entertainment Arena here.
During the fair business tourism organisers (Hosted Buyers) could take part in a prize-drawing and win ‘an invitation for a weekend’ in Krakow for two persons. The prize was funded by the Krakow Convention Bureau and the rezerwuje.com portal.
